Asphalt paving
Asphalt paving & resurfacing
New asphalt pavements and resurfacing of worn, cracked or failed surfaces — profiled, primed, laid and rolled to spec.
We profile the failed surface, correct the base, prime, then lay and compact hot mix in a single continuous run wherever the site allows — fewer joints means a longer-lasting pavement.
- Profiling and removal of failed pavement
- Base correction and regulation courses
- Hot mix asphalt laid with an 8ft paver
- Multi-tyre and steel drum rolling to compaction spec
- Output up to 300 tonnes per day or night shift
Spray sealing
Spray sealing
Bitumen spray seals for roads, laneways, rural access and large-area resurfacing — a cost-effective alternative to full asphalt.
Spray sealing suits long runs and rural work where asphalt isn't cost-effective. We assess the existing surface, choose the binder and aggregate for the traffic load, then spray and spread in one pass.
- Single and double/double coat seals
- Primer seals on new pavement
- Reseals over existing bitumen
- Aggregate sized to traffic and application
- Purpose-built spray seal truck and flo-con
Civil earthworks
Civil earthworks
Bulk and detailed earthworks — cut and fill, site levelling, trenching, drainage and pavement box-out.
Earthworks decide whether a pavement lasts five years or twenty. We set out to survey, work to the design levels, and compaction-test before anything goes on top.
- Site clearing, cut and fill
- Detailed excavation and trenching
- Pavement box-out and subgrade preparation
- Stormwater and drainage works
- Compaction to engineer's specification
Kerb
Kerb & guttering
Concrete kerb, gutter, layback and dish drain for subdivisions, car parks and council road works.
Kerb sets the drainage line for the whole site, so we set out to the design falls first and confirm levels before pouring.
- Barrier, mountable and roll-over kerb profiles
- Kerb and gutter, layback and dish drains
- Vehicle crossings and pram ramps
- Set out to design levels and drainage falls
- Works to council specification
Council
Council & government road contracts
Prequalified for local road maintenance, rehabilitation, resealing and pavement repair programs.
We work to the contract specification and hold the certifications and traffic management capability that council and government work requires, including night shifts to keep roads open by day.
- Pavement rehabilitation and heavy patching
- Reseal and resurfacing programs
- Pothole and failure repair
- Traffic management and night works
- ISO and RMS certified systems
Sports courts
Sports courts & hardstand
Tennis courts, netball courts, basketball courts and hardstand areas — laid flat, drained and marked.
Courts are unforgiving — surface tolerance and fall have to be right or water sits on it. We lay to a tighter tolerance than road work and check with a straight edge before it cools.
- Court base construction to tolerance
- Fine-tolerance asphalt surfacing
- Acrylic surfacing coordination
- Fall and tolerance checked before the surface cools
- Hardstand and machinery pads
